Applications

How do Xiechang pulse controllers integrate with PLC/DCS systems, and how does master–slave interconnection work?

Current C-series controllers carry RS485 Modbus-RTU for live status upload, parameter setting, remote start/stop and valve break-detection readout; the address and baud-rate ranges are in each controller’s parameters table. Multiple controllers can run master–slave: the master polls each slave in turn, automatically skips one that stops responding and raises an alarm. Factory testing verified 20 controllers on one PLC segment and stable communication over 120 m at 19200 baud.
